Baron is a recurring character on the Paramount+ original supernatural drama, Wolf Pack. He is portrayed by Chase Liefeld.

Baron is Harlan and Luna's brother and the werewolf that's been terrorizing the town.

Biography

Baron attends Tia's kickback at her house, where he doesn't say much, but he seems to keep a close eye on Everett throughout the party.^[1]

Along with the rest of the party, Baron has retreated inside the house after spotting the werewolf in the pool. Unbeknownst to the party goers, he is the werewolf. In the dinning room, he tells Everett that he can't remember his name, which Everett suspects is simply a side effect of the shrooms. Regardless, Baron sneaks back out the house and transforms. He is spotted in the woods by Investigator Ramsey, who fires off several warning shots. She wants to help, claiming that she can bring him back and help him control it. Baron replies in a distorted voice: "Help me." However, before she can, Jang arrives with two other officer and scares off the beast, sending him towards Garrett. It charges towards him, and he opens fire; Garrett wings Baron in the shoulder, causing him to briefly revert to his human form before taking off. Although, he does return to the house and kills Phoebe.^[2]

Baron appears in Everett's dream through their mental connection, and it's through said dream that the pack discovers that Austin is Baron's next victim. And so, they devise a plan to lure the werewolf to the medical freezer by having Blake dress up as Austin. After luring him into the freezer, Everett attempts to face off with Baron but is overpowered. Taking a different approach, Everett reminds the werewolf that it's name is Baron, causing the werewolf to loosen its grip and allow for Everett, Blake, Harlan and Luna to escape the freezer and to lock it inside. In time, Baron's heart beat slows down, eventually leaving him in a state of death, which reverts Baron back to his human form. However, just as they're about to resuscitate him, Austin stabs Baron in the chest with a silver coated knife.^[3]

The trauma of being stabbed has Baron trapped inside his own mind, reliving memories belonging to his pack mates. When he finally awakens, he's being strolled out of the hospital in a wheelchair by Malcolm, who uses him as bait to lure in Baron's mother and kill her. Fortunately, she and Garrett manage to subdue Malcolm and heal Baron.^[4]

Powers and abilities

Baron possesses the standard traits and abilities of a born werewolf. After being burned during the wildfire, he gained the ability to transform into a monstrous form of a werewolf. Additionally, he possesses the unique ability of transmutation, allowing him to transform humans into werewolves.
